By Liliana Swanson

Any country music fanatic is aware that the top country tunes are packed with emotion; songs can make you want to dance, or want to cry!

Country music originated by combining conventional and wide-spread North American musical styles that were discovered in the southern United States and Canadian Maritimes in the early 1920s. There are alternative versions of the genre that surfaced in other locations, such as Australia.

It was in the 1940s that the term "country music" gained popularity when the earlier term "hillbilly music" was considered as denigrating. In the Southwestern United States, a mixing of ethnic groups has created the music that became country and western music. Many people think that when they hear an old country song, it is a creation of European-Americans. But there is a great deal of style and instrumentation similar to what was used by African Americans at the time of country music's origin. Country music was created because people with differing racial profiles from rural communities started working and playing together.

There are recorded top country songs a that artists have performed in any number of variations. Hillbilly, country, western or country and western pretty much all relate to the genre of country music. Today's performers of country music developed their variations from older artists, regardless of whether it is traditional or modern day melody. Individuals who are fresh to country music experience difficulty knowing the different styles. Since country music is a category that has numerous skilled performers, many guides have been written to help budding artists and fans recognize the different musical tools necessary to create the popular country music styles and tempos.

Old country songs are typically gradual and unhurried, while authentic classic country tunes generally even included yodeling. Yodeling was the initial folk derivation and it continues to be famous in many styles of songs.
