Airbrushing Isn't For Painting Cars and Walls Only

By Harvin Gulfill

Most of us, when we hear airbrushing, we often accompany it with industrial materials like cars, paints or houses. Some might even connect it to art and paintings. But the truth is, airbrushing isn't really for those applications only. They can also be used in the fashion industry and to be specific, in the faces of models and artists. This idea might be out of bounds but truthfully speaking, airbrushing in make up is starting to get its own recognition in the society.

In the past years, make up artists uses sponge or cottons or any media that can apply make up in our faces. And as most of us observe, it isn't easy to do it that way. But luckily, because of human ingenuity and technology advancement, airbrushing was introduced in the world of make up. Foundations and other make ups are now sprayed to the faces in a form of quick drying liquid. This allows make up artists to have a more dynamic way of designing our faces.

The secret to this almost magical effect is that the airbrushing can provide a very fine and tiny foundation through liquid emission. Even if zoomed in, you can see the even application of foundation of make up. If compared to images, airbrushing can provide a high resolution picture. Even with a skilled designer, perfection like that is almost impossible if manual or traditional application is used.

But as everything in the world, airbrushing in make up also has its own downfalls and the main problem is money. Make up spray is very expensive and the make ups that are specially used in airbrushing are expensive too. So if you want to master the art of make up airbrushing, then you have to invest a lot of time and a lot of money too.

Make up is important to women because it allows them to show their beauty and confidence. So having a new and better way to apply it is really a great thing, same thing with airbrushing. Because it is already becoming popular in many fields, the collaboration of make up and airbrushing became a great success.
