Hey! Have you heard the latest crazy celebrity diet trends? Allow me to introduce you to some of the craziest plans yet!
How about Snookie's cookie diet? Snookie eats a cookie for breakfast, one for lunch and then a "sensible" meal. The popular cookie diet is actually a meal replacement plan and the cookies are healthy and easy to grab and go. Many dieters like this type of celebrity diet because there's very little preparation involved.
Snookie might lose some weight too if she follows the plan because it will drastically decrease her caloric intake. Of course, as soon as she stops the trendy celebrity diet, she'll probably start seeing the scale go back up.
Do you like purple? I guess Mariah Carey thinks it's a great color for food. She swears by her celebrity diet plan that involves eating lots of purple fruits which are rich in phytochemicals. She believes that it will also slow the biological clock with all of those potent antioxidants. It might do that, but she may gain some weight since she is consuming so much sugar and not a lot of protein.
Here's a celebrity diet trend for you. Eat baby food for breakfast, lunch and then a sensible meal. The new Slim Fast? I hope not, but Jennifer Aniston thought it was a good celebrity diet plan when she had to drop some weight for a role, and I'm sure she did at a mere 600-700 calories per day! Oh well! Jen will probably never be overweight anyway!
How about a celebrity diet plan that involves eating only certain types of food? Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) ate only strawberries, edamame and dry lettuce while singing away with the Spice Girls (who also ate the same things). Or try out Milla Jovovic's post-pregnancy diet that utilized only oatmeal, artichokes and salmon. Actually, that's some pretty healthy cuisine, but it may get a little boring!
Celebrity dieter Renee Zellweger lost her Bridget Jones' pounds via ice cubes, tuna, dry lettuce and raw veggies. Not a bad plan considering she worked out religiously and lean protein like tuna is a pretty sound choice, and of course, raw veggies are always an excellent celebrity diet plan!
Maybe Kylie Minogue's plan is the right celebrity diet for you? She uses the grapefruit diet and has a grapefruit along with anything she eats. Hmmm I don't think so! Better, however to eat the grapefruit rather than sniff it! Jennifer Lopez carries around a vial of grapefruit oil and sniffs it to "stimulate fat burning." Probably not. Maybe Kumiko Mori (Japanese opera singer) has the right idea. A banana and warm water every morning, and most of Japan appears to agree since the shops have a difficult time keeping enough bananas in stock.
So, be my guest at the above diets (but you'll likely gain the weight back). Just be sure to NOT follow Brittney Spear's celebrity diet of days past. She used Aderrall as a potent stimulant and also purged with laxatives. Not a good plan for anyone.
