There Are Many Arcades And Attractions In Toronto

Canada, as a nation, is actually quite mysterious to the those in the outside world and that's just because the prevailing stereotypes don't do much to provide insight into it's cities. The Olympics in Vancouver introduced the world to a country that values nature and being progressive. In fact, Toronto, the largest city in the nation and the financial capital, is considered one of the great cities of the world and it is committed to building towards the future. Living in or visiting this city can be exciting with the variety of arcades and attractions in Toronto.

Building towards the future has manifested through an embrace of technology and the integration of a city wide wi-fi network. Being hi-tech, however, doesn't mean that people don't embrace all of the different games of the past in concert with the ones of the present.

Thinking about the future is fine, but tourists and residents alike are dazzled by the dozens of arcades and amusement centers that are populated throughout the area. While some flock to more high tech centers with virtual reality games, many folks are turning towards the classics and inundating centers featuring massive collection of pinball machines, foosball, air hockey, and pool.

This is what defines the attractions in Toronto: they are experiences. Every Saturday and Sunday, residents and tourists alike flock to St. Lawrence Market. This structure has been in existence for 200 years and boasts a farmer's market on Saturday and antiques market on Sunday.

Indeed, Toronto's Chinatown is one of the best in the world and houses some of the best Asian restaurants. Following a culinary path, St. Lawrence Market has been in existence for 200 years and every Saturday has some of the best gourmet food vendors come out for its weekly farmer's market. Every Sunday the space is converted into an antique market on top of already showcasing some fine art and photography daily.

The number one tourist attraction in the city can be found in Eaton Centre. It is modeled after the Galleria in Milan, Italy this retail palace hosts some of the greatest retailers in the world, as well as a number of homegrown Canadian designers.

In terms of shopping, many people also flock to the Eaton Centre. A multi-storied mall modeled after the Galleria in Milan, Italy, you'll be able to find every luxury brand in the world. There are also a number of other retailers as well, including some solely Canadian designers.

Another fantastic place to spend the day is at the Waterfront. Similar to Chicago, you can find a number of museums and science centers build against a beautiful backdrop. This environment also hosts the many festivals that come to town including the Toronto International Film Festival, or TIFF.
